When SOS is triggered, ENAWA can use your configured safety settings to share your current location and risk context with designated contacts and start the appropriate safety workflow. Where enabled by the user and supported by local services, the system can also initiate an emergency or law-enforcement contact workflow. For situations identified as extremely high risk, ENAWA can escalate the safety response accordingly.

Does ENAWA permanently save my conversations?
ENAWA is not designed as a permanent life-recording service.
Temporary audio and processing data are intended to be automatically discarded according to ENAWA's data-handling rules unless needed for a safety event or explicitly enabled by the user.
Can raw audio ever go to the cloud?
When higher-accuracy verification requires it, a limited encrypted segment of recent event audio may be securely processed in the cloud.
ENAWA is designed to minimize both the scope and duration of that data.
Does ENAWA work without internet?
ENAWA supports both online and offline use. Core local speech and risk screening can continue while offline.
Cloud verification, trusted-contact notifications, and other connected safety functions require an internet connection.
What happens when I press SOS?
When SOS is triggered, ENAWA can use your configured safety settings to share your current location and risk context with designated contacts and start the appropriate safety workflow.
